16th May, 2025
About Webinar
Access to reliable and affordable energy is fundamental to economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability. However, despite numerous initiatives and investments, according to IEA, over 600 million people across Africa -primarily in Sub-Saharan regions - still live without electricity in 2025. Many depend on traditional biomass, such as wood and charcoal, for cooking, contributing to deforestation, health hazards, and gender-based inequalities.
This webinar is designed to convene leading experts, policymakers, energy innovators, financial institutions, and industry leaders to explore the critical challenges and opportunities in bridging Africa’s energy access gap. Our discussions will dissect the key barriers to clean and affordable energy, evaluate successful case studies, and present forward-looking strategies to scale sustainable energy solutions to bridge Africa’s energy access gap.
