Monique Motty

In a 15-year career, Monique has worked worldwide on projects involving climate technologies, clean energy transition, and green finance. She co-authored peer-reviewed articles and reports on climate finance in the context of energy transition, bioenergy development, and adaptation finance.
An MPA graduate and distinguished Edward Mason and Louis & Gabrielle Bacon environmental leadership fellow at Harvard University, Monique also holds an MSc in Energy, Environmental Technology, and Economics from City, University of London.
Actively engaged in global initiatives, she was a board member of the Future Energy Leader program from the World Energy Council (WEC)from 2019-2024, she sat on the Technology Executive Committee of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) from 2020-2025 and is an Executive of the Congo World Foundation’s 3C initiative which focuses on advocating for a more ethical cobalt value chain.
