Phoebe Ayitey, Esq

Dorothy Ayitey is an accomplished legal professional with an LL.M from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, which she specialized in Global Security, Sustainability, and Human Rights. A Valedictorian from the University of Ghana with an LL.M in Natural Resource Law, she also holds a Barrister at Law (BL) from the Ghana School of Law and an LL.B from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, where she was honored as the Best Human Rights and International Trade and Investment Law Student.

Her professional journey includes significant roles such as Senior Associate at Blagogee, Blacksword & Co in Accra, where she managed complex legal challenges, including advising on multinational business operations, facilitating multimillion-cedis property sales, and leading pro-bono legal efforts. 

Dorothy’s legal acumen has successfully defended high-stakes cases involving wrongful accusations and employment disputes, saving her clients substantial financial and reputational damages. Dorothy is also deeply committed to community service and human rights, volunteering with the Human Rights Advocacy Center in Ghana. Her research contributions are notable in international development, focusing on sustainable practices in rural economies and protecting human rights in mining communities in Ghana.

She serves as a board member for various legal and international law societies. Dorothy’s multifaceted expertise in law, particularly in natural resources and human rights, makes her a distinguished figure in her field.
